This committee has been working diligently for over a year towards several collective goals. Understanding the increasing pressure on volunteer companies to fundraise and a decrease in volunteers, this group has put in place plans to consolidate financial resources, standardize training and standard operating guidelines and ease the time and stress put on local volunteers, all while continuing to provide the same progressive and professional protective services to the community. ted

Louie's story began almost 3 years ago. His first "family" was not very nice to him. They had a large dog, and that dog refused to allow Louie to eat. The people did not do anything assist Louie, allowing him to become emaciated. This large dog was also encouraged by the owners to attack Louie, subjecting him to almost daily dog fights. When he was rescued in May '09 by Delaware Valley Bichon Rescue, he weighed only 7 pounds. He also had little fur (from the malnutrition), and evidence of bites all over his tiny little body.
Louie was adopted by the Garman's this past summer and is now living the good life.
