The volunteer members of Cumberland Valley Hose come from all walks of life. Our volunteers joined the department to give back to their community and help their neighbors in need. Along the way, they have developed friendships and a strong sense of family with those in our community.

Established in 1859, the Cumberland Valley Hose Company #2 was organized and chartered as a volunteer fire company dedicated to providing fire protection to the Borough of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
As the premier truck company in the area, the “Ever Ready” Cumberland Valley Hose Company #2 (CVHC) aids in preventing the loss of life and property and provides voluntary fire protection and emergency response to the Shippensburg community.
